
New Delhi. After winning the Test series against Australia, India has now announced the team for the Test series against India (England vs England).
India has selected the team for the first two Tests in which Virat Kohli will be captained. Hardik Pandya and Ishant Sharma are also back in the team. The big news is that all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari are out of the team, both of whom were hurt during the Australia tour. Akshar Patel has got a chance in the team in place of Jadeja. Jasprit Bumrah and R Ashwin have also been selected in the team for the first two Tests.
The selectors have selected an 18-man squad for the Test series against England. In which Prithvi Shaw has not got a place. Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and Mohammad Siraj are also part of the team. Kuldeep Yadav is also with the team. Mayank Agarwal has also been elected despite poor performance in Australia. Wriddhiman Saha has also been retained as a wicket-keeper team.

Let us tell you that the 4 Test series between India and England will start from February 5. The first and second Test matches will be played in Chennai. The second Test match will start on 13 February. After this, there will be a day-night test from February 24 at the new Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad and the last Test of the series will be played on this ground on March 4. After the Test series, the five-match T20 series will begin from March 12. Finally, a 3-match ODI series will be held from 23 March.
